Thirty years of bridge building, proven on government work.
Repeat clients and a strong track record on government work are what this business is built on. We handle bridge construction, maintenance, foundation piling, demolition and asbestos removal across the eastern states of Australia. We are not confined to a single region. We go where the work is, and we take on the projects others are unable or unwilling to deliver.
We own our equipment
By maintaining our own skilled workforce and fleet of plant and equipment, we provide direct accountability from start to finish. There is no chain of subcontractors between our clients and the work being performed, which keeps quality, safety and program in our hands.

Our company is built on 3 generations of continuous experience in bridge construction and operations. BriMac was established in 2015, but the experience behind it runs far deeper. The knowledge, methods, and standards we apply today have been proven over decades in the field.

Transport for NSW Prequalified
We work across both the public and private sectors, delivering as principal contractor or subcontractor according to the requirements of each project. Our public sector experience includes Transport for NSW, NSW Forestry and local councils across the eastern states. In the private sector, we work with engineering consultants, designers and principal contractors to ensure complex designs are delivered efficiently and practical to build on site. We are not defined by client type, project size or location and bring the same hands-on approach and technical capability to every project we undertake.

01 / construction
BriMac is a specialist contractor delivering bridge construction, maintenance, foundation piling, demolition and asbestos removal. We self-perform every job with our own crews and plant, giving clients direct accountability from start to finish. Brian McIntosh brings more than thirty years of hands-on experience, and our government performance reports describe the result as exemplary. Our specialist plant and equipment is also available for hire.
02 / consulting
We review and advise on constructability, construction methodology and demolition, across bridge and foundation projects. That advice holds up on site, not just on paper, because we've run the cranes and poured the foundations ourselves.
HOW WE WORK
A team player who turns up and gets it done.
We select the right specialised equipment and the right methodology for each project. Our cranes, plant and piling gear are owned, so they arrive in known condition, on our schedule, with no subcontractor margin in between. We self perform, which keeps quality in our own hands.
Clients describe us as a team player. We give early warning when something on site changes, we work the problem alongside the client. This commitment to partnership and problem-solving is reflected throughout our performance reports and long-term client relationships.

BriMac is led by Brian McIntosh, founder and director. His career spans more than thirty years in bridge and civil construction, backed by three generations of bridge building. Supporting him is an experienced team of supervisors, operators and compliance personnel who understand the demands of complex infrastructure work. We keep a stable, experienced crew and bring the same people back to every job, which is how the standard for workmanship and safety holds from one contract to the next.

We own what we turn up with.
We own and maintain our specialised fleet. That means it arrives in known condition, on our schedule, with nothing to wait on. Keeping our fleet in-house gives us greater control over mobilisation, maintenance and availability, allowing us to respond quickly when projects demand it - not when a third party can supply equipment.
Our plant is also available for hire, supported by skilled operators who know how to get the job done safely and efficiently. Contact us if you want to know more about this.

accreditation & compliance
management systems
SafeWork NSW Conditional Restricted Demolition Licence AD213640, valid to 11 May 2028. It covers demolition above 15 metres, pre and post tensioned structures, floor propping, and mobile cranes rated over 100 tonnes.
LICENSES
SafeWork NSW Non Friable Asbestos Removal Licence AD213696, valid to 03 August 2031. This licence covers all BriMac asbestos removal work on bridge and foundation projects.
